CETA offers cross phase CPD and leadership training which is collaboratively planned and delivered by partner schools. Through this model our CPD is developed by teachers for teachers.
The partnership’s leadership is committed to using existing strengths; forming new areas of expertise and working with other Teaching Schools to improve teaching and learning for all. There is a wide range of expertise within CETA schools and we are able to offer tailored school to school support with NLE’s and LLE’s as well as a range of subject experts.
We are keen to work with other Teaching Schools within our area and nationally and we have established an RQT course with other Gloucestershire Teaching Schools.

Here at CETA we offer Initial Teacher Training. To become a qualified teacher in state maintained schools across England and Wales you need to have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This is gained through training known as Initial Teacher Training (ITT).
CETA can support other schools by drawing on skilled and qualified leaders, teachers and school practitioners from our partner schools.
