Our AML Programme

Our AML, Aspirant Middle Leaders, programme is designed to help participants develop skills for successful middle leadership within both secondary and primary education.

As a middle leader your role is essential for improving the quality of teaching and learning in your school – our AML programme will help you develop the confidence, knowledge and skills for managing and leading a high performing team in your school and to improve classroom practice.

The course is suitable for participants across primary and secondary phases where you either wish to develop or take on leadership roles. In primary the focus will be upon leading the curriculum areas of Mathematics and English.

Our next Aspirant Middle Leaders programme will start in September 2016, and the course is delivered over the academic year through a variety of afternoon and twilight sessions, completing in June 2017. Individual projects using professional enquiry are an integral part of the course and will result in a presentation at an Ideas Fair.

On completion of the course you will be awarded a certificate from the University of Bristol.
